Changed oil today. Filled up full 5 quarts of Amsoil 10W-40 Fully Synthetic. Since the car is going to eat oil regardless (yes turbo) I figured just to get that extra .5 quart up from the required 4.5 quarts for the STi. It's super hot outside so thicker oil is a proper. For the first time while changing my oil I put in an oil drain plug gasket. Never did it before but I hope now it will be easier to unscrew that plug next time I change oil with it installed.

These little things are metal (aluminum most likely), I was expecting a rubber or plastic one but this is what these are...

Here's a picture of the dipstick after I changed the oil.
As seen here the dipstick shows more than full. As I'll be checking on oil periodically I will keep tabs on how much of it disappears.
